TENGANAN (TG) SERIES
Atta Series (original smoke finish of our factory)
With tropical fern called Atta as materials, artisans deliberately weave cages, mats and bags according to usages. This Atta contains relatively a lot of oil and the epidermis is smooth, it is withier than bamboo. High water resistance is another characteristic. You could hand-wash the item a little, provided that it will get dry completely. Unlike products from other areas, TG Series has attracted attention as functional interior accent in that you could hardly see the heartwood, along with high-quality finished form of delightful brilliance of elaborate weaving.

LOMBOK (LB) SERIES
Lombok Series (original smoke finish of our factory)
Thick and rough natural touch is created when Atta is woven into Rattan bines, which is a big trait of Lombok basket. Besides, a tight braid gives extra durability. Just as TG series, the products are smoke-finished with coconut chips in ASHITABA original method. The surface looks colored, however, no varnish or red soil is applied. It is all natural colors. For maintenance, please use dry cloth or brush to take dirt off.

BAMBOO (BB) SERIES
A plant, which belongs to paddy family growing in subtropical zone, has pronounced silky touch and glossy surface.

Not only is the distinguished material elastic but also durable, so that its tiny-split pieces can be used to make baskets too.

LONTAR (LT) SERIES
“Lontar”, a sort of coconut leaves in Indonesian, is finely split to weave and present its lightness. For the leaves turn into tender white in the sun, which makes it easy to stain, the series is abundant in use of color. However, the products change colors depending on conditions. So please carefully choose spots to display or store, for example, avoid direct sunlight by the window.

PANDAN (PD) SERIES
Pandan is called Pandanus tectorius whose thick vein, as a sustainable material, is best used for mats or baskets. Because two kinds of cubby boxes mutedly colored in brown and sepia are simply designed in a linear manner, they harmonize well with desks and living areas. They are useful to collect small things (tissue boxes, video tapes and so forth) to organize your space while maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere.

COCONUT & COCONUTSHELL (CC) SERIES
Nectar and fruit of coconut are well known for tropical ingredient, and also its husk, trunk or leaves are used to make living ware. Since the trunk has no clear growth rings, unique design will come out which is rarely seen in other trees’ when polished. The center of coconut trunk is not dense, so it is difficult to cut into big logs. Besides, the husk is firm and smooth, which differentiates itself from polished trunk to create various kinds of expressions. We also have series featuring the core of black coconuts tree, which are smaller than regular coconuts in number.

IRON (IR) SERIES
Ironware made in Bali orchestrates places in a modern style, from living, kitchen to gardening. Paint-finished antique black is striking a delicate balance in color, so it can hardly rust up when used outside.

LAMP (LP )SERIES
Ambient light with atmosphere is essential for interior. Shape of each lamp shade releases relaxing light to mirror silhouette. These lamps convey tender brightness of its original taste. The material types are bamboo, recycled glass, cloth-covered, and so forth.

INDONESIA BATIK (IB) SERIES
Batik, as known as calico, is a cloth by pouring wax. Patterns are made in longhand by Chang-Ting or Chap. Originally batik was a garment used for royal clothes. Although more printed handkerchiefs are made, ours are all hand-made and subtle color balance of each brings more moods. Along with handkerchiefs, we have salons.

IKAT (IK) SERIES
“IKAT” means “bind up” in Indonesian. Make a knot with fine spun threads to match the design, keep a colorant from penetrating into certain parts, and start weaving the threads. Then splashed-pattern comes out of the parts kept from colorant.

The more colors are used, the more care are required as well as the more expensive it will become.
